Summer!
Wow, I hadn't realized it has been a couple of months since I have posted on here. Even with the huge amount of rain we have had this summer I have been pretty busy. How is your summer going?
Our gardens are behind. We are used to being in the thick of canning at this stage of the summer and we have barely started. I believe the bulk of our harvesting will happen in September this year.
Right now we are waiting for the hay in the field to dry enough to bale. Our fingers are crossed it doesn't get a serious rain on it. Talk about stress.LOL My dad and stepmom are up farming our place and he is getting antsy just sitting and waiting. It give us all time to visit as they live a solid 9 hours away from us.
Now on to my crafting news. CTMH and Cricut have come out with an exclusive to CTMH Cricut cartridge. I have waited for at least 8 years to get a cutting system and now had to get one(hehe). I am LOVING it! I will be sharing some pics later this week of projects I have been doing in my spare time.
If you ever want to see what CTMH offers, please go to my company website at ctmh.com/heritageartistry
Have a fantastic weekend!

Isn't spring wonderful! The lush green and all the planting. LOL We are still not finished planting. We have done spruce trees, fruit trees, berry bushes, flowers and the root vegetable garden. The corn in the green house is 5 or 6 inches high(most of it). I still have to plant all the climbing vegetables. I believe that will be 11 mini beds.
I think the most fun project right now is the second flowerbed of this year. It was an old pile of dirt. We don't have machinery so we can't move it(except with wheel barrow and shovel). I decided to terrace it and plant flowers. We are two thirds done. I have run out of large rocks so the rest will have to wait. I sold a box of seed potatoes and that lady gave me several cabbage plants and some corn plants. I have no more room for plants so the terraced flowerbed is now a terraced vegetable bed. When I get some pics I will post them.
I hope spring is a time of renewed energy for you and that you have a fantastic day!

Non scrapbooking project. My kids and I each have our own digital cameras. I love looking at the pictures they take. My son took the one with the Poplars and my daughter the one with the Pine boughs. My pic is taken on the Pine River. These trays were bought at the dollar store and the final product was a Christmas gift for my mother in law. We need to make a set of these for our own home.
